In Easycart you can easily collect user details like email addresses and names on a waiting list, while your product is not available. This is a great way to build excitement for an upcoming products and capture emails, and also gather details of people interested in product that is temporary out of stock.
In order to enable waitlist, just go to Add-ons → Waitlist
And enable the Waitlist:
Important! Your product has to be unavailable in order for the waitlist to appear. This happens, when features End / Start selling at certain date cause the whole product to be currently unavailable (Product → Basic menu, or Product → Price variants if you want set those dates for individual variatns separately).
Changing those dates is also the only way to simulate waitlist in the preview!
Alternatively, waitlist becomes active once your product has limited quantities, and it runs out of stock.
