The final step, essential for legal compliance, is to maintain a consent log and allow users to modify or withdraw their consent.
Consent log
To set up a consent log with Easycookie:
- Go to the Data management tab.
- In the Consent list section, toggle the option to Create consent list.
Once you do this, we will begin storing a list of all consents and withdrawals for you. If needed, you can download the current consent log at any time by clicking Download the list of consents as a CSV file.
Modifying consents
Regulations also require that your users can change or withdraw their consents. The best way to enable this is by adding the following links to your privacy policy (these are also available in the Easycookie configurator).
